We recently went on a day trip to Villefranche-sur-Mer. It is a small town around the bend from Nice. We took this walk on a beautiful October day, where the temperatures were in the 70s. This walk has some of the most gorgeous views one can take of the Mediterranean.

We started the walk from the Nice port along the coast on a trail etched in the rocky coastline. Unfortunately the trail was not open the whole way like it supposed to be due to some construction, but the views were absolutely amazing.

Once off the trail and onto the main road for the walk, the views did not disappoint. When we arrived into Villefranche-sur-Mer, we kept going through the town to get the panoramic view from just beyond the small town.

As you can see the train ride from Monaco to Nice has to be a beauty. The train literally is on the beach!

We continued our walk into the Old Town of Villefranche-sur-Mer and found the most amazing colors all around us. The yellows, pinks, and oranges lit our way through this beautiful Mediterranean town.

We took a break from our walk and had some wonderful lunch and ended leaving at the port. I just love looking at boats on the water. VIllefranche-sur-Mer definitely is a treasure on the Mediterranean.
